Siu Tsiu is looking for a new director who will lead our ongoing development phase, establish a secretariat, and ensure that social and economic goals go hand in hand.
A unique beginning: You are not starting alone To ensure a strong and secure start, you will have a transition period with the current director. Here, you will be introduced to Siu Tsiu, our projects, and network – and you will have the opportunity to ask all the questions you didn't know you had.
This means that, at the beginning, you will be hands-on at our service centers, so you gain a deeper and broader understanding of our work with the youth. This is an important part of becoming a part of Siu Tsiu – and of being able to lead us safely forward.

Your key responsibilities As a director, you have overall responsibility for both strategic and daily management. Your tasks will include, among other things:
· Development and implementation of Siu Tsiu's strategy in close collaboration with the board.
· Lead our secretariat in Nuuk
To ensure an economy that allows for big thinking – and a solid foundation.
· Relationship building and partnerships with municipalities, foundations, businesses, and civil society to ensure the operation and development of Siu Tsiu
· Visibility of Siu Tsiu's mission and results
· To be an active part of the daily operations in the beginning – and then build structures that allow for your strategic overview.

Job description – Project Manager at Siu Tsiu
1. Overall
The project manager is responsible for the planning, execution, and development of Siu Tsiu's projects.
The position reports to the director and serves as the central link of the secretariat between the director, projects, and service units.
The project manager translates Siu Tsiu's social mission into concrete activities and results, both administratively and practically.
The role combines project management, coordination, partnership work, and hands-on participation in the service units.
2. Work and areas of responsibility
· Plan, coordinate, and execute projects in accordance with the organization's goals.
· Ensure quality, progress, and documentation in all project processes in collaboration with the director.
· Prepare project plans, timelines, status updates, and evaluation materials.
· Personnel responsibility for the team leaders in the service units and therefore the primary contact person for the team leaders.
· Actively participate in the startup and operation of the service units, including practical and organizational tasks.
· Travel activity to the service units at least twice a year for follow-up, coordination, and support.
· Support the director with prioritization, resource allocation, and strategic discussions.
3. Special work and areas of responsibility
· Develop new projects and initiatives in collaboration with the director.
· Contribute to fundraising and the preparation of components for grant applications and documentation.
· Ensure coordination and sharing of experiences between the secretariat, service units, and partners.
· Document project and unit results for evaluation and board reporting.
· Maintain close contact with the team leaders and ensure professional sparring, follow-up, and support in daily operations.
· Participate hands-on in the operation of the service units
4. Competencies
· Good project management and coordination skills.
· Experience in leading and supporting team leaders in daily operations.
Ability to work independently in a small organization with a high degree of responsibility.
Can balance professional overview with practical problem-solving.
· Flexible and solution-oriented with the ability to handle multiple concurrent tasks.
· Comfortable with travel activities and periods of hands-on participation in the service units.
5. Qualifications
· Experience in project management in social economy, social, cultural, or community-related organizations.
· Experience in coordinating and supporting employees.
· Experience with documentation, evaluation, and reporting of projects.
Experience with grant-supported projects is an advantage.
· Relevant education in project management, social studies, social work, pedagogy, culture, or equivalent.
· Good written and oral communication skills – preferably in Greenlandic, Danish, and possibly English.
6. Special terms
The role involves close collaboration with the director and daily contact with team leaders in the service units.
The project manager actively participates in the startup and operation of the service units.
· Two annual visits to the existing service units.
· Flexibility in working hours – however, overtime may be expected at times.
· Combination of strategic, coordinating, and practical tasks in a dynamic organization.
