The support team is looking for a pedagogical assistant or someone with a similar education.

Social Psychiatry for the Disabled under the support corps.

We are looking for a pedagogue as soon as possible who can work as a support person for adults with physical and mental disabilities living in Nuuk. The position is 40 hours a week, and the working hours are primarily Monday to Friday from 8 AM to 4 PM.

Procedure:

Work is done from citizen to citizen with different working hours, based on the citizen's purpose in the given situation.

The way is paved for the citizen's everyday life by supporting citizens in their daily lives.

The work is being carried out according to the action plan.

Citizens are supported so they have a normal everyday life.

The target audience:

We work with adults who have physical and mental disabilities and live in their own homes; we go to their homes to provide services for them.

The tasks:

Service is provided with the citizen at the center.

·Create an action plan together with the citizen

Take the citizen to public places, such as the emergency room, etc.

Is engaged and has a positive outlook on life.

·That you are responsible and can work independently

Is positive and patient

We have interdisciplinary collaboration with:

·The district psychiatry, Queen Ingrid's hospital, the social administration, occupational and physiotherapy, and the correctional services

It will be an advantage if you can speak and understand Greenlandic and Danish, but it is not a requirement.

Criminal record:

This position is subject to the law requiring the collection of a criminal record. According to the law, employment can only begin once the municipality has received a criminal record. We must therefore point out that the start date can only be agreed upon once the municipality has received the criminal record from the police.

Salary and employment conditions:

Salary and employment conditions are in accordance with the applicable agreement between the Government of Greenland, in accordance with the agreement/collective agreement in force at the time of appointment between the Government of Greenland and the relevant negotiating organization.

The employment will be subject to a 3-month probation period.

Housing:

No housing can be provided for the position.
