Leader for Integrated Daycare 'Naasunnguit'

The institution is designated for 4 0-5-year-old children.

The staffing ratio is 1.5, and if needed, it increases to 2.

You have these qualifications:

• You are trained as an educator or similar.
• You are clear and can set boundaries when needed.
• That you can have a conversation with parents about children's development.
• That you are stable/engaged in your work
• That one is positive/fresh and welcoming.
• That you can speak Greenlandic and Danish.
• That you have knowledge of operating IT/computer.
• That you can be aware of new initiatives.
• That you have a recognizing pedagogical perspective.
• That you can handle stressful situations.
• That you are aware of children with special needs.
• That you have experience working with children.
• That you find collaboration important and are willing to cooperate.
• You are open to new initiatives, welcoming.
• That you are familiar with applicable rules, policies, and laws.
• You are stable with a supportive approach to work methods.
• You should be able to follow up on status and develop skills for children.
• You must be able to work constructively with parents.
• Emphasis is placed on your motivation and ability to work independently.
• You should be interested in the development of the institution.

Salary and employment conditions:

Salary and employment conditions, including the right to free travel and relocation of household goods, are in accordance with the applicable collective agreements between the Government of Greenland and NPK or SIK.

A staff housing can be assigned, for which rent is paid according to applicable rules.

Child certificate and criminal record:

Positions are covered by the law on the obligation to obtain a child certificate and a criminal record. According to the law, employment can only begin once the municipality has obtained a child certificate. We would therefore like to point out that the start date can only be agreed upon once the municipality has received the child certificate from the National Police.

Employment is subject to a satisfactory child and criminal record check, which will be obtained by Qeqqata Municipality.

Commencement on September 1, 2026, or by agreement.
