Neriusaaq is seeking a cook for the nursing home in Maniitsoq. The position involves cooking for residents and younger disabled individuals as well as cleaning in the kitchen. Working hours are from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM daily with weekend shifts every other week. Qualifications include training as a cook and experience in large kitchens.

Neriusaaq is a nursing home that was inaugurated in 2008. We have space for 44 residents with different care needs. The house is divided into 6 sections, but there is collaboration across all sections. About 70 employees with various professional backgrounds work throughout the house.
Work tasks:
Cooking for residents and younger disabled individuals with their own staff/support persons, as well as for elderly citizens in the community.
Organization of cooking and baking, where there is also a significant amount of diet and blended food.
Cleaning in the kitchen. Working hours are from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM daily, weekend shift every other week.
Qualifications:

Salary and employment conditions
Salary and employment conditions in accordance with the agreements in effect at the time of commencement between the Government of Greenland and S.I.K.
Housing can be provided.
Criminal record:
This position is subject to the law on the obligation to obtain a criminal record. According to the law, employment can only begin once the municipality has received a criminal record. We would therefore like to point out that the start date can only be agreed upon once the municipality has received the criminal record from the Police.
