Greenland Business School is looking for a service staff member for serving, cleaning up, light cleaning, and various tasks at an educational institution. You will be part of the school's service team and report to the deputy manager. We seek a service-minded, independent, and proactive person who thrives in a dynamic environment.

Greenland Business School is looking for a service employee.

Greenland Business School is a well-established and dynamic educational institution that offers a range of business-oriented and practice-based programs in close collaboration with companies and public authorities. Greenland Business School is currently in a development phase focusing on new offerings aimed at strengthening our ambition to attract and retain students, as well as to match the business sector's need for skilled labor.

 

Your tasks ...

As a service employee, your tasks will primarily involve serving, cleaning up, light cleaning, and addressing the many diverse tasks that naturally arise in an educational institution with students and staff.

  • Work tasks include, among other things: Preparation of coffee/tea for staff, etc.
  • Serving and setting up for meetings and courses
  • Preparation of meeting and exam catering
  • Cleaning up and to a lesser extent cleaning in the staff area
  • General service, including tidying up dishes, watering flowers, purchasing refreshments, etc.
  • Collaboration with the school's external cleaning provider
  • Supervision of kitchen inventory fulfillment

You will be part of the school's service team, which also includes the school's caretaker, and will report to the deputy head.

  • We want you to be service-minded and helpful and thrive in a dynamic workday.
  • You have previously worked in a position with diverse tasks, and you are therefore good at maintaining an overview.
  • You are independent and proactive and see where action is needed.
  • You are punctual and take pride in maintaining a high level of service.

Last but not least, we need you as our service employee to be able to work independently, maintain a comprehensive overview, and navigate in a dynamic and flexible environment among both colleagues and students.

Salary and employment conditions

Salary and employment conditions, including the right to travel for joining and leaving as well as relocation of personal belongings, in accordance with the agreement/collective agreement in force at the time of commencement between the Government of Greenland and the relevant negotiating organization.

Housing

No housing is provided for the position. If an applicant already has housing through employment in the Self-Government, the right to the assigned housing is retained. The housing is linked to the employment relationship and must be vacated upon termination of the employment relationship.
