There is now a vacant position as a nurse in the outpatient clinic to be filled as of March 1, 2026. As a nurse in this position, you will primarily be associated with the outpatient clinic on weekdays.
Ilulissat Regional Hospital functions as a medical practice, where nurses also have independent courses. In your daily work, you will primarily be responsible for managing the courses for citizens with chronic diseases. The work is very independent and requires that you can, to a certain extent, plan and perform nursing in the various courses in collaboration with the doctor.

Here, citizens are referred to the various pathways, which can range from acute injuries to suddenly occurring illnesses, assessed and treated often in collaboration with the doctor. In your daily work, you are part of a team with other nurses, assistants, doctors, interpreters, receptionists, and pharmacists.
The working time standard is 40 hours per week. The position mainly involves day shifts on weekdays, and you will also participate in the work in the hospital's ward every other weekend. You will report to the head nurse in the outpatient clinic.
The hospital works interdisciplinary with somatic and psychiatric home care nurses, health visitors, radiology, laboratory, midwives, and staff in the department with 21 beds. The inpatient department functions as an emergency reception and emergency room after 4:00 PM and on weekends - for the city's approximately 5,000 residents.
