Cleaning Staff

Would you like to help ensure a clean and pleasant environment for our consumers? NUIF is looking for a cleaning assistant.

NUIF is a youth and children's center that specializes in music, art/theater, and film production.

The activities in the NUIF building are diverse, and it is important that the building is clean and tidy.

In addition, we are developing two music rehearsal rooms and the upcoming drama room.

You will perform a visible cleaning, which means that the cleaning can, in some cases, be carried out while the building is in use. This requires you to be friendly towards our users and other external users, flexible, and good at planning your time.

We expected that you have:

• Experience with cleaning, preferably trained as a cleaning assistant, is not required.
• Ability to speak, understand, and read Greenlandic
• Is responsible, can meet deadlines, and works independently.
• Works thoroughly and aims for success
• Has a positive attitude and is flexible
• That you are kind to our consumer
• Being bilingual in Greenlandic and Danish is an advantage, but not a requirement.

We offer.

A full-time job, which is initially 40 hours a week.

Criminal and Child Certificate:

The position is covered by the law on the obligation to obtain criminal and child certificates. According to the law, employment can only begin when the municipality has received satisfactory criminal and child certificates. We would therefore like to point out that the start date can only be agreed upon once the municipality has received the child certificate from the National Police as well as the criminal record from the Police.

The child certificate is obtained by the municipality with the consent of the individual, while the criminal record is obtained by the individual from the Police.

Salary and employment conditions:

Salary and employment conditions are in accordance with the applicable collective agreement between the Government of Greenland, according to the agreement/collective agreement in force at the time of appointment between the Government of Greenland and the relevant negotiating organization.

The employment will be subject to a 3-month probation period.
