The position is located in the family department in Qaanaaq and is responsible for case management of early and elderly pensioners in Qaanaaq and its settlements regarding social issues. The work includes case processing, participation in meetings, and duty arrangements. Skills include education as a social worker, administrative work, and interdisciplinary collaboration.

The position is located in the family department in Qaanaaq and is responsible for case management for early retirement and old-age pensioners in Qaanaaq and its settlements regarding social matters.

The priorities in case processing for early retirement and old-age pension are:

- Case management for early retirement and old-age pensioners regarding inquiries and overseeing the finances for early retirement and old-age pensioners managed by the social administration.

- To participate in meetings with SUL regarding applications for early retirement pension and participation and assessment meetings for early retirees.

-When needed, you should be able to assist with, for example: case processing of public assistance. Case processing for children, youth, and family department. Case processing for the disability area.

-That you participate in the shift arrangement which is rotating, also on weekends at the times of 4:00 PM - 12:00 AM, 12:00 AM - 8:00 AM (social and backup duty).

Competencies:

-Qualified as a Social Worker, or other course certificate in the Social field as well as similar

-Can work administratively.

-Being able to collaborate interdisciplinary.

-Cooperative / stable / can maintain confidentiality.

Mentally strong.

-To be able to work according to legislation in the social field.

- To be able to work overtime upon request.

-To be able to keep time.

The caseworker's immediate supervisor is the department head for the area in Qaanaaq.

Salary and employment conditions:

Salary and employment conditions, in accordance with the agreement/collective agreement applicable at the time of commencement between the Government of Greenland and the relevant negotiating organization.

There is no staff accommodation associated with the employment.
