HR Consultant for Maternity Leave Cover
Do you want to help support our HR function in the municipality in a maternity leave cover?
We are looking for an engaged and service-minded HR consultant for a maternity leave cover. You will be part of our HR department, where you, together with skilled colleagues, will advise and support the municipality's leaders in a wide range of HR and personnel tasks.
If you thrive in a varied workday, have experience with HR and personnel administration, and are motivated by providing good service and qualified advice, then you might be the one we are looking for.
Who are we?:
The HR team consists of 4 office assistants, 6 HR consultants, 2 HR development partners, 1 AU-HR trainee, a department head, and an HR and payroll manager.
The HR department is jointly responsible for ensuring that the municipality hires the right employees and subsequently retains skilled employees. This is done through close contact and collaboration with leaders and departments across the municipality.
As a maternity leave cover in the HR department, you will be attached to a team that primarily services and advises leaders as well as handles the department's common operational tasks. You will have a varied workday, where you both work independently and together with your colleagues to solve the many different HR tasks.
We have an informal tone, emphasize good collegiality, and having fun together. In our team, workdays are rarely the same.
Your tasks:
As an HR consultant, your tasks will include:
·Administrative handling of hiring and terminations
·Processing of personnel cases in close and constructive collaboration with management
·Advising and sparring with leaders on personnel matters
·Advising on employment law matters in accordance with applicable agreements
·Quality assurance of procedures and workflows
·Contributing to the department's ongoing operational and administrative tasks
·Participating in relevant development and implementation tasks
·Contributing to ensuring good and uniform HR processes across the organization
·Handling Ad-hoc cases
The tasks will be adjusted to the department's needs and your experiences and competencies.
We expect that you:
·Have experience in HR and/or case management
·Have knowledge of personnel administration and agreements within public authority in Greenland
·Preferably have knowledge of Getorganized and Mindkey
·Have a relevant education in HR, administration, or a related field
·Work in a structured and independent manner and follow through on your tasks
·Are proactive, action-oriented, and service-minded
·Have good collaboration skills and thrive with contact to both leaders and colleagues
·Can maintain an overview in a workday with many different tasks
·Can communicate in both Greenlandic and Danish – this is an advantage, but not a requirement

The position is a maternity leave cover.
Criminal Record:
This position is subject to the law on the obligation to obtain a criminal record. According to the law, employment can only begin once the municipality has received a criminal record. We must therefore point out that the start date can only be agreed upon once the municipality has received the criminal record from the Police.
Salary and employment conditions:
Salary and employment conditions are in accordance with the applicable agreement between the Government of Greenland, according to the agreement/contract in force at the time of commencement between the Government of Greenland and the relevant negotiating organization.
The employment will be subject to a 3-month probation period.
