About the Play Heroes All children have the right to a life filled with play and movement – even children affected by illness. However, a course of illness, hospitalization, and chronic diagnoses are often associated with significant inactivity and loneliness. This can have serious consequences for the physical, cognitive, and social development of hospitalized children. Therefore, the Play Heroes work to create active play and movement for the many children who are hospitalized in a hospital each year. The Play Heroes create a space for big gestures, tumbling games, and community – and with room to be a child again.
The Play Heroes is an initiative of the Children's Accident Fund.
