Study secretary for a well-established and dynamic educational institution that offers a wide range of programs in the vocational field. Are you strong in planning and administration? Can you provide students, staff, and external partners with effective, accurate, and welcoming case processing? Then you are the one we are looking for.
Your tasks…
As a study secretary, you will be part of a team where the areas of work range widely from basic education to higher education and further education. The tasks as a study secretary require that you demonstrate self-discipline in the execution of your tasks, and that you have a high level of precision and propriety in your case processing. The work also requires that you thrive on working with detail-oriented tasks, and that you can handle being interrupted in your work.
You will have daily contact with students, staff, and external partners, so you must be sociable and service-minded. As a person, you should be reliable and have the ability to listen and understand your surroundings. You will become part of the Study Service, which handles tasks related to student administration and study and career guidance. You will report to the Principal.
The tasks consist broadly of the following:
- Daily case processing and use of various study administrative systems
- Case processing related to admission work, invitation letters, etc.
- Case processing of student-related matters, including travel, rent subsidies, child allowances, etc.
- Planning and coordination of education and study guidance-related activities
- Ad hoc educational tasks
We want…
- That you have a relevant vocational education, supplemented with relevant education or courses in education, and career guidance.
- Are passionate about and have experience with study guidance and knowledge of both vocational education and the Greenlandic education system.
- That you have knowledge of the Office suite, and knowledge of study administrative systems, such as Lectio, Wiseflow, etc., will be an advantage
- That you can work independently, are structured, and detail-oriented
- That you are a dedicated team player who values relationships with colleagues and students and thrives in a dynamic and flexible environment.
- Good communication and formulation skills in both Greenlandic and Danish will be highly valued

Salary and employment conditions
Salary and employment conditions according to the agreement/collective agreement in force at the time of appointment between the Government of Greenland and the relevant negotiating organization.
The working hours are 40 hours a week, and the position is desired to be filled on November 1, 2026, or by agreement.
Housing
No staff housing is provided for the position. If an applicant already has staff housing through employment in the Government, the right to assigned staff housing is retained. The staff housing is linked to the employment relationship and must be vacated upon termination of the employment relationship.
