The Municipality of Sermersooq is seeking a development consultant to strengthen employees' competencies and drive changes. You will work in an ambitious team focused on learning and development, and contribute to the onboarding of new leaders. Knowledge of Greenlandic and Danish is required.
Development Consultant for the Staff Development Department
Do you understand how changes affect a workplace and the people who work there? Can you help turn new ideas and goals into concrete actions in everyday life? Then you now have the opportunity to become part of the organizational development team at Greenland's second-largest workplace, Kommuneqarfik Sermersooq, with 2,500 other colleagues.
As a development consultant (employed as a special consultant), you will be part of a team with five colleagues. You will play an important role in Kivitsisuuvugut focusing on learning, development, and creating solutions together with employees and leaders. You will also help ensure a good start for new leaders and develop materials that assist new employees in getting started well in the municipality.
Responsibilities:
∙Help drive Kivitsisuuvugut forward with a focus on learning, development, and collaboration
∙Contribute to good frameworks for learning and development for the municipality's employees
∙Assist in planning and implementing onboarding for new leaders
∙Develop materials that help new employees get started well at the workplace
∙Contribute to development and changes in the organization and help translate new initiatives into something that works in practice
Qualifications:
∙Experience with or interest in development and changes in a workplace
∙Good at collaborating with different professional groups and creating engagement among both employees and leaders
∙Knowledge of Greenlandic and Danish is required; English skills are an advantage
∙Being bilingual in Greenlandic and Danish is an advantage, but not a requirement

You will be employed in our Staff Development Department, where you will work closely with four colleagues in an ambitious and strongly development-oriented team that is passionate about creating value in the organization. In the team, we have a broad contact surface with the management and leaders across the municipality. We have a welcoming culture and great engagement in the team, where we lift together and prioritize professional sparring, collegial attention, and good laughs very highly in everyday life. Criminal record:
This position is subject to the law on the obligation to obtain a criminal record. According to the law, employment can only begin when the municipality has received a criminal record. We must therefore point out that the start date can only be agreed upon once the municipality has received the criminal record from the Police.
Salary and employment conditions:
Salary and employment conditions are in accordance with the applicable collective agreement between the Government of Greenland, according to the agreement/collective agreement in effect at the time of commencement between the Government of Greenland and the relevant negotiating organization.
Employment will be subject to a 3-month probation period.
