Ilulissat Regional Hospital is seeking an anesthesia nurse

Working as an anesthesia nurse in Greenland is an exciting challenge, where your versatile skills come into play. Your tasks are both different and new, as you receive and treat many different patient categories from all over North Greenland.
The Greenlandic culture is part of everyday life and you will quickly experience that, for example, the weather has a decisive influence on our work.

During your working hours, you are attached to the ward, where you, in collaboration with your colleagues, handle the usual patient-related tasks in the ward. You will participate in rotating shifts with duty as an anesthesia nurse every other weekend.

  • Ilulissat Hospital is a regional hospital in the Avannaa Region in North Greenland. The hospital consists of a ward, an operating department with two modern operating rooms, and an outpatient clinic with about 100 visitors daily.

Housing

Housing will be provided according to the rules applicable in the Greenlandic healthcare system at any given time.

Salary and employment

Salary and employment conditions, including the right to relocation and moving expenses, in accordance with the agreement/collective agreement in force at the time of commencement between the Government of Greenland and the relevant negotiating organization.

Citizenship

If you are not a Nordic citizen, please note that employment is conditional on a valid residence and work permit. A residence and work permit can only be applied for upon agreed employment.
