Do you dream of an exciting and versatile position as either a medical secretary or health administrative coordinator at Dr. Ingrid's Hospital, Clinical Secretariat? Here is your chance – either as a permanent employee or through a temporary position (from 3 months up to 1 year).
You will be part of a unit with 10 employees, either with a surgical or medical focus, where the need to work across clinical areas may arise.
The job as a medical secretary / health administrative coordinator is an important function at Dr. Ingrid's Hospital with close interfaces to other parts of the healthcare system. You will primarily be responsible for transcribing the doctors' dictations, and secondarily have other tasks related to documentation and administrative duties in relation to the clinical areas.
The focus will be:
- Increased patient safety through transcribing dictations for doctor notes, including ensuring patient pathways
- Optimization of workflows
- Ensuring good patient pathways

We are looking for you:
- Trained Medical Secretary or Health Administrative Coordinator
- Flexible and adaptable – both a good team player and able to handle tasks independently.
- You have knowledge of IT and the Office suite, Word and Excel.
- Good Danish skills are a requirement
- Have a good ear for language and are efficient in data entry, as all note-taking is done digitally.
- Can remain calm, even when things move quickly
- Who is stable
- It is an advantage if you are bilingual in Greenlandic/Danish, but not a requirement.
- You have knowledge of Greenland and the Greenlandic infrastructure, but not a requirement.
About us:
- The pathway coordination is a professionally broad workplace, where we work with all medical and surgical specialties.
- The department currently consists of 10 medical secretaries, where there are often Health Administrative Coordinator / SAK interns, as well as a department head.
- The Clinical Secretariat is organizationally placed as part of the Pathway Coordination at Dr. Ingrid's Hospital, where in addition to the Clinical Secretariat, there is also Travel and Patient Coordination, the Patient Hotel, and a Chief of Staff.

Salary and employment
Salary and employment conditions, including the right to relocation and moving expenses, in accordance with the agreement/collective agreement in force at the time of commencement between the Government of Greenland and the relevant negotiating organization.
