The leisure club Kaassassuk near Qaqortoq is looking for a pedagogue, social worker or someone with similar education.

The municipality of Kujalleq is looking for a pedagogically trained, educated employee to work outside school hours performing pedagogically targeted work with children and young people that promotes their well-being, health, development and learning. The prevention, culture and leisure club collaborates with the school and the parents. The leisure club Kaassassuk is looking for an employee to start on September 1, 2026 or by further agreement.

Newly started 4th grade children up to 21-year-old young people are users who are distributed in the morning and evening.

About the position:The position is located in the Municipality of Kujalleq in Qaqortoq. If you enjoy working with children and young people and like to develop entertainment, can plan independently, in collaboration with the development of children and young people.

We expect you to:

• Be an educated pedagogue, social worker or have a corresponding education.
• Have service experience
• Be stable, open and engaged.
• Have an interest in working with children and young people.
• Be able to communicate with children and young people as well as collaborate with parents.
• A criminal record certificate is a requirement.

Child certificate:

The position is covered by the law on the obligation to obtain a child certificate. According to the law, employment can only begin when the municipality has obtained a child certificate.

The child certificate is part of the decisive requirements in connection with the municipality's decision regarding who should be employed for the position.

Compensation

Employment is in accordance with the collective agreement.
