Electricians wanted for Nalunaq Gold Mine
We are looking for skilled and certified electricians with valid Greenlandic authorization for our team at the Nalunaq mine's processing plant. This is a position with a rotational schedule, where the work takes place in remote and demanding environments. The ideal candidate has a strong technical background in industrial electrical systems, and experience from mining and processing plants will be an advantage.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Perform installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems, including motors, transformers, switches, and control panels.
- Troubleshoot and rectify electrical issues to minimize downtime and ensure stable operation of the processing plant.
- Conduct routine inspections of electrical equipment to ensure safety, compliance with regulations, and functionality.
- Work with instrumentation and control systems to maintain process automation and operational efficiency.
- Adhere to all safety regulations, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) as well as participation in safety drills and procedures.
- Maintain documentation for electrical systems, repairs, and updates in accordance with company standards and legal requirements.
- Collaborate with engineering and maintenance teams to optimize equipment performance.
- Assist with upgrades, expansions, or modifications of electrical systems as needed.
