Operator at processing plant

Nalunaq is seeking experienced and motivated operators for processing plants with a strong focus on flotation to support the gold processing operations at the Nalunaq mine's processing plant. These positions are crucial for supporting commissioning activities, operational readiness, and the long-term performance of the plant. Successful candidates will play a key role in the operation of the flotation circuit and associated concentrate handling systems, while performing defined practical maintenance and repair activities to support the safe and reliable operation of the plant.

KEY TASKS

• Safe operation and monitoring of the process plant's equipment in accordance with operational procedures, safety standards, and production schedules
• Operation and control of the flotation circuit, including air volumes, reagent addition, foam depth, mass pull, and concentrate quality
• Monitoring of metallurgical performance indicators and proactive response to process deviations
• Coordination of flotation operations with upstream milling conditions and downstream concentrate handling
• Operation of the concentrate filtration system, including feed preparation, filtration cycles, and monitoring of cake quality
• Operation of concentrate bagging and handling systems in accordance with quality, safety, and shipping requirements
• Conducting routine inspections, pre-start checks, and cleaning within assigned operational areas
• Identifying, reporting, and assisting in troubleshooting mechanical and process issues in collaboration with maintenance and technical teams
• Support for startup, shutdown, commissioning, and ramp-up of the plant
• Maintenance of accurate operational logs and reports
• Promote a strong safety culture and compliance with all health, safety, and environmental requirements
