Project Consultants for Implementation of Shift Planning in the Greenlandic Health Service

The Greenlandic Health Service is in the process of implementing the shift planning system PDC-VagtPlan and is looking for experienced project consultants with strong digital, relational, and communication skills.

You will have the opportunity to be part of an important development project, where you, together with the project team, will help to professionalize, standardize, and further develop shift planning in a healthcare system of great societal importance.

As a project consultant, you will play a central role in the implementation of PDC-VagtPlan and will contribute to ensuring that the system is configured and used optimally in the individual departments. You will be the link between the system, the organization, and the users and will be responsible for supporting the implementation, development, and subsequent anchoring of shift planning across all of Greenland.

There are two project positions available with a duration of 6-12 months.

Your tasks will include:

• Implementing and configuring the shift planning system PDC-VagtPlan in collaboration with the individual departments
• Adapting, maintaining, and further developing the departments' shift plans and setups in the system
• Advising and supporting managers and local shift planners in the use of PDC-VagtPlan
• Identifying needs and translating them into functional solutions in the system
• Ensuring better use of data from shift planning, so that managers have a better basis for making decisions about resources and capacity
• Preparing training materials and conducting training for users and super users
• Contributing to the development of common rules, workflows, and principles for shift planning, so that agreements and contracts are supported

Shift planning is a core task in all departments, but at the same time a complex function where many considerations must be balanced. A good shift plan ensures that patients meet the right staff with the right skills at the right time and place. At the same time, economy, operations, work environment, and employee well-being must be taken into account.

We envision that you:

• Have experience with shift planning and electronic shift planning systems
• Have practical experience with PDC-VagtPlan or similar systems, preferably with experience in configuration, setup, and maintenance
• Have an understanding of the relationship between shift planning, working time regulations, agreements, and operations
• Have strong digital skills and the ability to translate needs into system solutions
• Have strong communication skills and thrive on advising, teaching, and collaborating across the organization
• Work in a structured and independent manner and can drive tasks forward
• Are flexible regarding travel activities

It is an advantage if you:

• Have experience from the healthcare sector
• Have experience with implementation projects or organizational changes
• Have experience supporting users and super users in digital systems

Housing

Housing will be provided according to the rules applicable in the Greenlandic Health Service at any given time.

Salary and Employment

Salary and employment conditions, including the right to travel for relocation and moving expenses, in accordance with the agreement/collective agreement applicable at the time of commencement between the Government of Greenland and the relevant negotiating organization.

The position can be filled with a workplace in either Nuuk or at the Greenland Representation in Copenhagen.

Candidates with relevant experience and special skills may be offered employment as a specialist or chief consultant.

If you are not a Nordic citizen, please note that employment is conditional on a valid residence and work permit. Residence and work permits can only be applied for upon agreed employment.
