About the job

We are looking for a skilled and dedicated colleague who can drive purchasing and procurement processes from start to finish. You will be responsible for:

·Planning and execution of procurement in the goods and services area

·Administration, follow-up, and development of the municipality's contract portfolio

·Coordination and control of the municipality's IT licenses as well as relevant IT contracts in collaboration with the responsible professional areas

·Follow-up on supplier contracts, including ensuring that invoices and settlements are correct and in accordance with entered agreements and contract terms

·Analysis and optimization of purchasing areas

·Advising on procurement and quality assurance of agreements

·Professional sparring with the municipality's various administrations

·Contributing to ensuring procurement and conclusion of contracts with a focus on economic advantage and quality in collaboration with the head of the Purchasing department

·Contributing to ensuring that the municipality achieves full value from its supplier contracts and further develops sustainable and responsible purchasing

About you

We are looking for you who:

·Have a higher education

·Thrive with responsibility and can manage complex tasks

·Have experience with procurement, contract management, and negotiation

·Have an understanding of IT and Licensing, but not a requirement

·Are analytical, structured, and good at building relationships

·Have an understanding of finance and interest in contract follow-up and controlling

·Communicate clearly and can collaborate across professional areas

·Master Danish and preferably Greenlandic (Greenlandic is an advantage, but not a requirement)

You will be part of a strong professional environment where we ensure sustainable solutions. The position reports to the head of the Purchasing department. The department of Business, Facility, and Purchasing is part of Internal Services, which includes a wide range of professional areas.

Criminal record:

This position is subject to the law on the obligation to obtain a criminal record. According to the law, employment can only begin when the municipality has received a criminal record. We must therefore point out that the start date can only be agreed upon when the municipality has received the criminal record from the Police.

Salary and employment conditions:

Salary and employment conditions are in accordance with the applicable collective agreement between the Government of Greenland, according to the agreement/collective agreement applicable at the time of commencement between the Government of Greenland and the relevant negotiating organization.

The employment will be subject to a 3-month probation period.

Housing:

Staff housing can be allocated for the position, for which a deposit and rent, utilities, etc. are paid according to the applicable rules for rent payment in the properties of the Government of Greenland and the municipality in Greenland. If permanent staff housing cannot be made available immediately upon commencement, employees entitled to temporary housing will be offered a temporary vacant housing, for which rent, utilities, etc. are paid according to the above. The start date depends on when there is staff housing available. A relocation allowance and moving expenses will be provided according to applicable rules.
