About Nuussuup Atuarfia:

Nuussuup Atuarfia is a grade-divided school with 400 students in grades 1-10 and with a dynamic, engaged, and stable teaching staff of 45 educators. The school has students in 17 regular classes and 5 special classes, where students perform very well academically.

Teacher's hours:

We need at least 3 teachers who can teach the subjects Greenlandic, Danish, English, personal development, etc. for grades 4 to 7

Criminal and Child Certificate:

The position is covered by the law on the obligation to obtain a criminal and child certificate. According to the law, employment can only begin when the municipality has received a satisfactory criminal and child certificate. We must therefore point out that the start date can only be agreed upon when the municipality has received the child certificate from the national police as well as the criminal certificate from the police.

The child certificate is obtained by the municipality with the consent of the individual, while the criminal certificate is obtained by the individual from the police.

Salary and employment conditions:

Salary and employment conditions are in accordance with the applicable collective agreement between the Government of Greenland, according to the agreement/collective agreement applicable at the time of commencement between the Government of Greenland and the relevant negotiating organization.

The employment will be subject to a 3-month probation period.

Housing:

For the position, a staff housing can be provided, for which a deposit and rent, utilities, etc. are paid according to the applicable rules for rent payment in the properties of the Government of Greenland and the municipality in Greenland. If permanent staff housing cannot be made available immediately upon commencement, temporary staff housing will be offered to employees entitled to vacant housing, for which rent, utilities, etc. are paid according to the above. The start date depends on when a staff housing is available. A relocation travel and moving expenses are provided according to the applicable rules.
