The Municipality of Sermersooq is seeking a development consultant to optimize the cultural project Kivitsisuuvugut with a focus on competence development and sustainability. The position involves project management, onboarding of new leaders, and development of relevant materials. Knowledge of Greenlandic and Danish is required.

Do you have an understanding of organizational change processes? Can you imagine contributing to translating strategic development initiatives into concrete actions and are you passionate about competency development? Then you now have the opportunity to become part of the organizational development team in Greenland's second largest workplace, Kommuneqarfik Sermersooq, with 2,500 other colleagues.

As a development consultant (employed as a special consultant), you will, in collaboration with your five colleagues, be responsible for optimizing our cultural project Kivitsisuuvugut with a focus on sustainability and co-creation, as well as facilitating the onboarding process for new leaders and developing relevant materials for new employees.


Responsibilities:

∙Project management of Kivitsisuuvugut to ensure focus on competency development and co-creation.

∙Creation of a learning environment that promotes competency development among all employees.

∙Design and facilitation of the onboarding process for new leaders.

∙Development of effective and relevant onboarding materials for new employees.

∙Participation in the development of change processes, including the implementation of sustainable initiatives.


Qualifications:

∙Competencies in change management or organizational development.

∙Ability to work interdisciplinary and engage employees at all levels.

∙Knowledge of Greenlandic and Danish is required; English skills are an advantage.

You will be employed in our Personnel Development Department, where you will work closely with four colleagues in an ambitious and strongly development-oriented team that is passionate about creating value in the organization. In the team, we have a broad contact surface to the management and leaders across the municipality. Criminal record:

This position is subject to the law on the obligation to obtain a criminal record. According to the law, employment can only begin once the municipality has received a criminal record. We must therefore point out that the start date can only be agreed upon once the municipality has received the criminal record from the Police.


Salary and employment conditions:

Salary and employment conditions are in accordance with the applicable collective agreement between the Government of Greenland, according to the agreement/collective agreement in force at the time of commencement between the Government of Greenland and the relevant negotiating organization.


Employment will be subject to a 3-month probation period.
