Integrated institution Paarsisor in Ittoqqortoormiit is looking for an educator or similar

Integrated Institution Paarsisor is designated for 30 children aged 0-3 years and 3-6 years. The staff ratio is 9 staff members distributed as follows: Leader, deputy leader, 1 educator, 2 child and social helpers, 3 assistants, and 1 kitchen assistant.

Paarsisor is open from 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM.

The daycare department offers ongoing training tailored to the daycare environment and the leadership team.

Criminal and Child Certificate:

This position is subject to the law requiring the collection of criminal and child certificates. According to the law, employment can only begin when the municipality has received satisfactory criminal and child certificates. We must therefore point out that the start date can only be agreed upon once the municipality has received the child certificate from the National Police, as well as the criminal certificate from the Police.
The child certificate is obtained by the municipality with the consent of the individual, while the criminal certificate is obtained by the individual from the Police.

Salary and employment conditions:

Salary and employment conditions are in accordance with the applicable collective agreement between the Government of Greenland, according to the agreement/collective agreement in force at the time of commencement between the Government of Greenland and the relevant negotiating organization.

Employment will be subject to a 3-month probation period.

Housing:

Housing can be provided for the position, for which a deposit and rent, utilities, etc. are paid according to the rules for rent payment applicable at any time in the properties of the Government of Greenland and the municipality in Greenland. If permanent staff housing cannot be made available immediately upon commencement, temporary staff housing will be offered to employees entitled to vacant housing, for which rent, utilities, etc. are paid according to the above. The start date is dependent on when a staff housing becomes available. A relocation travel allowance and moving expenses will be provided in accordance with applicable rules.
