We are looking for nurses for a surgical department with high professionalism and strong camaraderie. The position can be permanent or as a temporary contract for 3-6 months. The work involves rotating shifts and weekend duty every other weekend. We prioritize well-being and professional development.

There are rotating shifts with weekend duty every 2nd weekend. We use a wish schedule, so you have influence over your own shift plan and the possibility for flexibility in your work life.

About the department
K2 is a surgical department with 18 beds. We primarily work with parenchymal surgery and urology and receive patients from all over the country – both elective patients for assessment and surgery as well as subacute and acute patients from Nuuk and evacuations from the coast.
Patient pathways range from short, planned admissions to longer and complex courses. We also manage palliative pathways of both shorter and longer duration, where holistic care, creativity, and patient involvement are central elements.
Attached to the department is a Stoma Clinic, staffed by a specially trained nurse from K2.

- Is either newly graduated or has broad experience as a nurse
- Has an interest in the surgical patient group and their relatives
- Thrives in a daily life with changing pace and complex issues

- Wants to work in a multicultural environment
- Preferably has good IT skills – we document, among other things, in COSMIC

Housing
Housing will be provided according to the rules applicable in the Greenlandic Health Service at any given time.
Salary and employment
Salary and employment conditions, including the right to relocation and moving expenses, according to the agreement/collective agreement in force at the time of commencement between the Government of Greenland and the relevant negotiating organization.
Citizenship
If you are not a Nordic citizen, please note that employment is conditional on a valid residence and work permit. A residence and work permit can only be applied for upon agreed employment.
