About the position
As a health assistant in Qaanaaq, you will be a central part of the health center's daily work. You will meet citizens of all ages and help create security and continuity in their encounters with the healthcare system.
The work is diverse and includes, among other things:
- Consultations and patient contact
- Preventive and health-promoting work
- Sample collection and treatments
- Follow-up on patient processes
- Handling tasks within maternity care in collaboration with the health center's other staff and the region's professionals
- Tasks within the child area, including examinations and follow-up on children's and families' health and well-being
- Health care tasks in collaboration with the region's health visitors
- Participation in duty arrangements.

Qaanaaq
Qaanaaq is Greenland's northernmost town with polar night in winter and sun around the clock in summer. Here, you will experience a very special culture and community far from everything else. Housing
Housing will be provided according to the rules applicable in the Greenlandic healthcare system at any given time.
Salary and employment
Salary and employment conditions, including the right to relocation and moving expenses, in accordance with the agreement/collective agreement applicable at the time of commencement between the Government of Greenland and the relevant negotiating organization.
Citizenship
If you are not a Nordic citizen, please note that employment is conditional on a valid residence and work permit. A residence and work permit can only be applied for upon agreed employment.
