Project Manager for the Future EPJ System

The Greenlandic Healthcare System is looking for a project manager for the secretariat of the Future EPJ System Project.

As a project manager, you will be a central part of the implementation of the Healthcare System's new electronic patient journal system. You will work closely with clinicians, leaders, suppliers, and other project staff to ensure that the solution supports the clinical everyday life and can be implemented safely throughout the organization.

Your task

You will be responsible for planning and executing a number of central sub-projects leading up to the commissioning.

We envision that you have a healthcare background and experience from clinical practice. You understand patient pathways, documentation, and registration practices and can translate clinical needs into concrete solutions in collaboration with both users and suppliers.

You will be responsible for:

• Planning and executing the project's sub-projects
• Contributing to requirement specification and procurement of the new EPJ solution
• Ensuring coherence between clinical workflows and the system's functionality
• Planning and coordinating testing, training, and implementation
• Collaborating with clinicians, leaders, and super users across the organization
• Contributing to risk management, planning, and follow-up
• Preparing decision proposals and status reports for the project manager.

We are looking for you

We envision that you:

• Have a healthcare education
• Have experience with development or implementation projects in the healthcare sector
• Have insight into patient pathways, clinical workflows, and registration practices
• Work in a structured manner and create progress
• Are good at fostering collaboration between different professional groups
• Preferably have experience with EPJ or other clinical IT systems.

Familiarity with the Greenlandic Healthcare System is an advantage, but not a requirement.

We offer

You will be part of a multidisciplinary project team with significant influence on the implementation of the upcoming EPJ system in the Healthcare System.

The project manager reports to the project director.

The workplace is the secretariat for the Future EPJ System Project at Queen Ingrid's Hospital in Nuuk.

Travel activity in Greenland is to be expected.

Housing will be provided according to the rules applicable in the Greenlandic Healthcare System at any given time.

Salary and employment

Salary and employment conditions, including the right to relocation and moving expenses, in accordance with the agreement/collective agreement in effect at the time of commencement between the Government of Greenland and the relevant negotiating organization.

If you are not a Nordic citizen, please note that employment is conditional on a valid residence and work permit. A residence and work permit can only be applied for upon agreed employment.
