The Greenlandic Health Service is looking for a biomedical technician for Queen Ingrid's Hospital in Nuuk. The position involves purchasing, installation, and maintenance of biomedical equipment. Medico is an independent department under the administrative function Buildings and Facilities, responsible for the procurement, installation, service, and maintenance of medical technical equipment throughout the Greenlandic Health Service.
We are looking for a biomedical technician for our team, primarily based at Queen Ingrid's Hospital in Nuuk, where you will be part of a team of 6 employees.

We are looking for you who:
Has a technical background, where experience with medical equipment is an advantage but not a requirement. This can include, but is not limited to; electrician, precision mechanic, technician, or of course biomedical technician.
Is willing to travel when needed at one of the many regional hospitals and health centers.
Has good collaboration and communication skills.
Greenlandic language skills are an advantage, but not a requirement.

Housing
Housing will be provided according to the rules applicable in the Greenlandic Health Service at any given time.
Salary and employment
Salary and employment conditions, including the right to travel for relocation and moving expenses, in accordance with the agreement/collective agreement applicable at the time of commencement between the Government of Greenland and the relevant negotiating organization.
Citizenship
If you are not a Nordic citizen, please note that employment is conditional on a valid residence and work permit. Residence and work permits can only be applied for upon agreed employment.
