You should be part of the Department for Compliance & Law in Municipality Kujalleq.

The Department of Compliance and Law is a newly established department. The main task of the department is to ensure that Municipality Kujalleq operates according to laws and regulations and, furthermore, maintains a good reputation and excellent service level for the municipality.

The department consists of two parts; compliance and law, and must identify, assess, advise, and report on the many compliance issues that apply to the municipality.

The department is placed directly under the municipal director. You will report to the compliance officer.

Kommune Kujalleq is Greenland's southernmost municipality, an oasis of natural beauty where nature dances hand in hand with the magical light and embraces the sky and water to a harmonious melody. In South Greenland, you do not live in nature, but together with nature, no matter where you are, what season it is, and what you are doing.

The Municipality of Kujalleq has three towns, and in addition to having 11 settlements, there are agricultural activities and livestock at various locations. The population is approximately 6,200 people.

Salary and employment conditions

Salary and employment conditions, including the right to relocation of personal belongings upon hiring and resignation, are in accordance with the relevant collective agreement with a negotiating organization and the Government of Greenland, depending on your education. You will be employed as an associate. Candidates with sufficiently documented experience may be nominated for a special consultant or chief consultant position according to the applicable collective agreement. Any allocation of special consultant or chief consultant allowances will only occur after approval from the partner of the collective agreement.

The working hours are 40 hours per week.

Housing

An unfurnished staff accommodation can be assigned to the position according to the applicable rules at any given time. Rent and deposit are paid according to the applicable rules for the assigned accommodation. The staff accommodation is linked to the employment relationship and must be vacated upon termination of the employment relationship. Rent and housing standards may vary depending on the age of the property, ownership conditions, etc. There may be a waiting period for the assignment of permanent staff accommodation, which is why temporary accommodation may be provided. It is not permitted to keep dogs or cats in the staff or temporary accommodation.
