The department has nationwide delivery of consumables as its area of responsibility, where special logistical conditions apply and the infrastructure is complex. The goal of the daily work is the shortest possible delivery time, correct delivery, and optimal inventory management.
You will have the opportunity to have a significant influence on achieving our production goals and ensuring optimal service, as well as the possibility of operational management in collaboration with the Warehouse Manager.

We have just implemented a new purchasing and inventory system, and you will play an active role in further developing the use of the system in relation to optimizing our supply chain.

Goods receipt – Systematic as well as practical, including emptying of containers

Delivery of goods to the hospital's departments

Shipments including coffins, biological samples, including planning, proper packaging, and freight booking

Ensure correct inventory management and optimal utilization of capacity.

Collaboration with the healthcare system's Economics and Procurement Department in Nuuk and the Greenland Department of Region North Jutland in Aalborg.

Various warehouse tasks as needed
We are looking for you who:

Has an education in warehousing, logistics, supply chains, or several years of professional experience in warehouse operations, including goods receipt and shipments.

Speaks and writes Danish and is happy to be bilingual in Danish/Greenlandic.

Experienced user of IT systems.

Responsible, service-minded, and serious, including being a good example for colleagues and employees.

Solution-oriented, good at structuring and planning with a good overview.

Salary and employment
Salary and employment conditions, including the right to travel for joining and leaving, as well as relocation of personal belongings, in accordance with the agreement/collective agreement in force at the time of commencement between the Government of Greenland and the relevant negotiating organization.
