The Greenlandic Health Service is seeking an experienced shift planner to implement and further develop the PDC scheduling system. You will work in a central team to ensure consistent scheduling across Greenland. Tasks include system rollout, data utilization, training, and consulting. The position requires flexibility and health-related knowledge.
The Greenlandic healthcare system is in the process of implementing the duty scheduling system PDC and is looking for an experienced duty planner with strong digital, relational, and communication skills.
You will become part of a new dedicated central scheduling team, which will help ensure professional and consistent scheduling across all of Greenland. In close collaboration with the central project team, you will be responsible for implementing and further developing the scheduling in the Greenlandic healthcare system, so that it best supports the strategic goals of the healthcare system.
Your tasks will include, among other things:

Deployment of the shift planning system, including configuring and maintaining the individual departments' shift schedules.

Ensure better use of data so that managers and local schedulers can more easily make decisions about how to best utilize resources.

Develop teaching materials and conduct teaching

Advise and support managers and leaders in all shift planning-related matters.

Develop and implement rules for shift scheduling, policies, and decision proposals for the management, ensuring compliance with agreements and contracts.
Scheduling shifts is a core task in every department, but it is also very complex. A good shift plan ensures that the patient meets the right staff with the right skills at the right time and place, while also adhering to the budget and taking care of employee well-being.

Has solid experience as a shift planner.

Has a relevant education – for example in the health sector or HR.

Must be flexible and look forward to visiting the different regions of Greenland at least a couple of times a year.

Housing
Housing is allocated according to the rules applicable in the Greenlandic Health Service at any given time.
Salary and employment
Salary and employment conditions, including the right to relocation and moving expenses, in accordance with the agreement/collective agreement in force at the time of appointment between the Government of Greenland and the relevant negotiating organization.
The position can be held either from Nuuk or from Greenland's Representation in Copenhagen.
Candidates with relevant experience and special skills may be offered employment as a special consultant.

If you are not a Nordic citizen, please note that employment is conditional on a valid residence and work permit. A residence and work permit can only be applied for upon agreed employment.
