The Utoqqaat illuat Ajarsivasik is looking for a manager in the Ivimmi department for the elderly.

About Ajarsivasik

The old people's home Ajarsivasik is located in the southern part of the municipality, in Qaqortoq.

The nursing home has three sections, two for regular care and one for special care, totaling 48 places. The special care section has 11 places. The other two sections have 18 and 19 places, respectively.

We live in a home for the elderly, and therefore the three teams work together closely. The staff at the Elderly Home have various qualifications, including health assistants, health helpers, nurses, and many who are untrained.

We are looking for a manager for the elderly care section, who is dedicated to providing high-quality care and focused on the development of this area.

We believe that the factors of development, skills, job satisfaction, creativity, and collaboration directly impact the living conditions of those who reside there. Therefore, we desire that work, alongside other sectors, progresses innovatively and sustainably for those who live there.

We strive to prevent the use of alcohol through prevention efforts.

 

We expect you to:

• Health assistant training or equivalent education in health, with management experience.
• You are working in a service for the elderly, and you are interested.
• Your ability to participate in tasks in the workplace and your willingness to do so.
• You are ready to be prepared for a discussion.
• You are allowed to speak in both Greenlandic and Danish, but that is not a requirement.
• You must be skilled in collaborating on your tasks.
• You are eager to participate in the improvement of the community and to contribute to the correspondence.
• You want to participate in the training for those interested in working with the unemployed and students.
• You are actively participating in the development of illumination, innovation, creativity, and improvement.
• You can work independently, be responsible, and be service-minded.
