Trainee in Housing Administration

We are looking for a trainee starting from March 1, 2026, or as soon as possible. Queen Ingrid's Hospital serves as a local hospital for the population in Nuuk and as a national hospital for the rest of Greenland. The Housing Administration handles tasks related to housing management, telephone switching, mail services, and is organizationally placed within the HR department.

We are looking for an apprentice from March 1, 2026, or as soon as possible thereafter.

Queen Ingrid's Hospital serves as a local hospital for the population of Nuuk and as a national hospital for the rest of Greenland. There are about 700 employees at the hospital.

The housing administration handles tasks related to housing administration, telephone switching, mail handling, and is organizationally placed within the HR department. We consist of a housing administrator, a housing officer, and two switching/mail employees. We have a provision for two trainees, who alternately have school placements and practical placements in the housing administration.

The student refers directly to the Housing Administrator. The Housing Administrator refers directly to the HR manager.

We offer training and daily execution of the following:

  • Accounting for the housing sector
  • Rent/salary deductions reports for employees in SHV Nuuk
  • Follow-up and reconciliation on the housing area/income/expenses
  • Coordination of move-in and move-out
  • Various administrative and practical tasks
  • Inventory management
  • Telephone switching and various tasks in DIH Reception/Switchboard

Housing is allocated according to the rules applicable in the Greenlandic Health Service at any given time.

Salary and employment

Salary and employment conditions, including the right to relocation and departure travel and moving of personal belongings, in accordance with the agreement/collective agreement applicable at the time of commencement between the Government of Greenland and the relevant negotiating organization.

Citizenship

If you are not a Nordic citizen, please note that employment is conditional upon a valid residence and work permit. A residence and work permit can only be applied for upon agreed employment.
