Assistant Manager

KNI A/S is seeking a skilled, energetic, and ambitious deputy manager for the merchandise division in Ittoqqortoormiit, starting on July 1, 2026, or by further agreement.

 

We emphasize the highest level of customer service and we expect you to contribute to this and have a desire to contribute to our continued success. You will have great freedom in your daily work, and it is therefore important that you are responsible and able to prioritize and plan your time.

 

We expect you to be competitive and able to collaborate with the staff to develop and think innovatively to ensure that customers receive the best possible shopping experience.

 

The deputy refers to the grocer.

 

You will, in collaboration with the grocer, take responsibility for:

• A grocery store with great potential for increased growth
• A wholesale turnover where ongoing customer contact is of utmost importance.
• Activity plans that always need to attract customers' attention.
• Responsible for store and personnel administrative tasks together with the grocer.

As a deputy manager, your tasks will be:

• To ensure a continuous supply of goods so that the store is always ready for sale.
• To develop and motivate all employees to perform at their best.
• To have a good and cooperative contact with customers and partners.
• Sales-ready store every day
• Planning of activities and campaigns
• Substitute for the grocer in their absence
