The school
You will become part of a school with approximately 1,000 students spread across grades 1-10 and with 9 special classes. We are a brand new school in development, and in the coming years, we will have a strong focus on 21st-century skills, project-based learning, teamwork, quality development, and strengthening students' academic levels.
The school's vision is to create students who can be creative, collaborative, think critically, have digital literacy, possess good communication skills, and can work interdisciplinarily.

Criminal and Child Certificate:
The position is covered by the law on the obligation to obtain a criminal record and child certificate. According to the law, employment can only begin once the municipality has received a satisfactory criminal record and child certificate. Therefore, we must point out that the start date can only be agreed upon once the municipality has received the child certificate from the National Police as well as the criminal record from the Police.
The child certificate is obtained by the municipality with the consent of the individual, while the criminal record is obtained by the individual from the police.
Salary and employment conditions:
Salary and employment conditions are in accordance with the applicable agreement between the Government of Greenland, in accordance with the agreement/collective agreement in effect at the time of appointment between the Government of Greenland and the relevant negotiating organization.
The employment will be subject to a 3-month probation period.
Housing:
A staff housing can be provided for the position, for which a deposit and rent, utilities, etc. will be paid according to the current rules for rent payment in the Greenland Self-Government and the municipality's properties in Greenland. If permanent staff housing cannot be made available immediately upon taking up the position, employees entitled to temporary housing will be offered a temporary rental housing, for which rent, utilities, etc. will be paid in accordance with the above.
