Kitchen Assistant

Skolepasning Angajo, Avannaata Kommunia is seeking a kitchen assistant for employment starting February 1, 2026, or by further agreement.

The kitchen assistant reports directly to the school care manager in Angajo.

Responsibilities:

· Work according to the institution's rules and objectives

· Care for children in a safe and responsible manner

· Collaborate across different teams and departments

· Work with parents

· Perform various tasks and prioritize work assignments

· Plan snacks in collaboration with staff

Qualifications:

· Trained kitchen assistant or equivalent

· Responsibility

· Overview

· Ability to engage and adapt

· Cooperative

· Humble and stable

· Physically and mentally healthy, outgoing, and cheerful

Salary and Employment Conditions:

Salary and employment conditions are in accordance with the agreement between Naalakkersuisut and SIK in effect at the time of employment.

No housing is provided for this position.

Employment is contingent upon satisfactory child and public criminal records, which will be obtained by the employer from the National Police with the applicant's consent.
