We are looking for 1-2 service-minded kitchen assistants for permanent employment in the Medical Area starting March 15, 2026. You will assist with food distribution to patients, prepare and serve food, and ensure cleaning and tidying up. Experience in service and serving is an advantage. The work is divided into day and evening shifts.

We are looking for 1-2 service-minded kitchen assistants for permanent employment in the Medical Area from March 15, 2026, or by agreement. As a kitchen assistant, you will help with all the practical tasks associated with food distribution to patients in the medical ward.
When the food has arrived from the central kitchen, you as a kitchen assistant will work on preparing and serving food and drinks to patients from our food carts, and you should pay attention to arranging the food in an appetizing manner. You must ensure that all patients receive the correct food according to their allergies, illnesses, or other conditions. There is also a recording of fluid and dietary intake for some of the patients. Previous experience with similar work is a great advantage.
You will help with tidying up, washing dishes, and cleaning in the kitchen and serving area, and when the kitchen closes, you must ensure the clearing and cleaning of the premises and equipment.
You have a good overview and are good at structuring your work. However, the most important thing is that you are smiling and can provide the patients with a good experience during the meal distribution.
The work is divided into day and evening shifts every day of the week.

The medical area is led by a chief physician and a head nurse. The medical area includes an outpatient clinic, a day ward, and two inpatient wards with a total of 32 beds, including an integrated children's ward with eight beds.
Under Medical Specialty, a wide range of medical diseases is included, such as heart patients, kidney patients, arthritis patients, infectious disease patients, and patients undergoing anticoagulant treatment.
You will be physically and organizationally placed in DIH's Medical Department and will report to the head nurses in the Medical Ward M1 and M2.
