AU / HR Intern for HR Development

The Chairman's Department is seeking an AU / HR intern for HR Development in Greenland's Self-Government, Nuuk. The intern will participate in daily tasks, including course activities, development tasks, and recruitment activities. Flexibility, curiosity, and responsibility are important traits. The intern must begin the academy education in HR.

The Chairman's Department is seeking an AU/HR intern for HR Development, Greenland Self-Government, Nuuk.

Who are we?

In HR Development, there are 4 permanent employees and 2 apprentices. HRU's primary tasks are the management of the work environment, facilitation, management coaching, courses, as well as career and education fairs.

Your tasks:

You will be involved in the daily work and, based on your interests and qualifications, take co-responsibility for planning and executing your own task portfolio. Your tasks will typically cover the following:

  • Assist with tasks related to course activities.
  • Be involved in preparing developmental tasks.
  • Assist with technical tasks
  • Flyers and information brochures
  • Produce content for various communication platforms
  • Contribute to recruitment activities

Furthermore, we expect that you:

  • Has experience with administrative tasks and a flair for IT.
  • Is independent and conscientious
  • Is structured
  • Part of the daily work – both professionally and socially
  • Has a can-do attitude and takes initiative

Practical matters

The working hours are 40 hours a week.

Your educational program

You should start the academy education in HR.

Salary and employment conditions

Salary and employment conditions, including the right to relocation and moving expenses, in accordance with the agreement/collective agreement in force at the time of appointment between the Government of Greenland and the relevant negotiating organization.

Housing

No staff housing is provided for the position. If an applicant already has staff housing through employment in the Self-Government, the right to the assigned staff housing is retained. The staff housing is linked to the employment relationship and must be vacated upon the termination of the employment relationship.
