Atuarfik Hans Lynge is seeking an office assistant who is flexible and can assist children, parents, and staff with daily challenges. You will work closely with the school's management and handle tasks such as administration, ordering supplies, and record-keeping. It is important that you see yourself as part of the school's whole and everyday life, and therefore be very flexible in your approach to task solving and the job in general. It will often be you who needs to help children, parents, and the school's staff find solutions to big and small challenges in everyday life. Therefore, we need a person who is friendly and welcoming, while also being able to get tasks done in a busy everyday life. As a school secretary, you will be involved in a very close collaboration with the school's management.
Who will you be working with:
You will become part of a competent and service-minded workplace with around 50 employees and 500 students.
We are looking for a secretary who can, among other things, handle:

Administration of the student/staff system TEA

Product ordering

Enrollment of students

Administration of INTRA

Post expenses and invoices in Winformatik

Servicing of partners - both internally and externally

Journaling also via GetOrganized

Absence reports for students and teachers

Is office educated

Previously worked as a secretary.

Familiar with tasks in administration

Familiar with the workflow regarding Tabulex Trio / TEA

Knowledge of personnel administration and record keeping

Can navigate within the following programs: Skoleintra, Winformatik, Microsoft Office suite, and GetOrganized.

Being bilingual in Greenlandic and Danish is an advantage, but not a requirement.

Atuarfik Hans Lynge is a school with about 500 students and approximately 50 staff members divided into 4 levels: the youngest level, the middle level, the oldest level, and special classes. Our characteristics are:

Criminal and Child Certificate:
The position is covered by the law on the obligation to obtain criminal and child certificates. According to the law, employment can only begin once the municipality has received satisfactory criminal and child certificates. We must therefore point out that the start date can only be agreed upon once the municipality has received the child certificate from the National Police as well as the criminal certificate from the Police.
The child certificate is obtained by the municipality with the consent of the individual, while the criminal record is obtained by the individual from the police.
Salary and employment conditions:
Salary and employment conditions are in accordance with the applicable collective agreement between the Government of Greenland, according to the agreement/collective agreement in force at the time of appointment between the Government of Greenland and the relevant negotiating organization.
The employment will be subject to a 3-month probation period.
