We are looking for a part-time secretary or student assistant who is motivated by creating overview, keeping track of details, and ensuring that administrative processes run efficiently in a busy everyday life. In our team, your role will be crucial for the office to function – and for your colleagues to focus on their professional tasks.
About the position
The Expedition Office in the Department of Nature, Environment, Energy and Research manages applications for expeditions and travel in remote areas of Greenland. This includes, among other things, crossing the Ice Sheet and other tourist activities, cruises in the National Park in North and East Greenland, and research activities.
We are experiencing increasing activity and are therefore looking for a structured and service-minded employee who can support the administrative part of the work and help ensure overview and progress.
You will be part of the daily operations, where your primary task is to manage inquiries, register applications, and ensure that cases are correctly organized and ready for further processing.
The position is approximately 10 hours per week and involves collaboration with colleagues in the Nature Department and other relevant units.
Your tasks
You will work with administrative and coordinating tasks, including:

keep track of the Expedition Office's shared mailbox

register and document applications and inquiries
-
update internal overviews and case lists
-
prepare material for further case processing
-
follow up on missing information and documentation from applicants
-
ensure proper handling and forwarding of inquiries
-
support structure, archiving, and administrative cleanup
-
contribute to an overview of deadlines and ongoing cases

handle submitted expedition reports
