Utoqqaat Illuat “Ajarsivasik” is seeking a Healthcare Assistant.

The Elderly Home “Ajarsivasik” in Qaqortoq is looking for a healthcare assistant to start on March 1, 2026, or by agreement.

Ajarsivasik accommodates 48 residents across three departments, including one for smokers and two others. Most residents require support.

We are looking for a healthcare assistant who:

• Is highly motivated to work with the elderly
• Is committed to ensuring comprehensive care for residents
• Is cooperative, eager to contribute to development, and willing to participate in a positive team environment
• Is reliable and determined
• Is innovative and aims for development
• Is expected to supervise students
• Is interested in teaching assistants and students
• Can work at home during important times

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Must be trained as a healthcare assistant
• Bilingual in Greenlandic and Danish is preferred but not required
• Must provide a criminal record certificate
• Must be willing to work evenings, Saturdays, and Sundays as needed
