Napasoq has 6 students from 3rd to 8th grade and a staffing of 2 teachers. We need a leader who believes in motivating, equal, and visible pedagogical leadership in a rural school undergoing exciting development.

In addition, the school focuses on enhancing the students' academic skills and independence, so they are prepared to continue their education in 8th and 9th grade in Maniitsoq.
Use of iPads in teaching
Ongoing collaboration with parents and students regarding the benefits of teaching, well-being in the classroom, and the agreement of expectations between school and home.
Use of SkoleIntra for annual and weekly plans, planning, student action plans, student well-being, etc.

Supervision and follow-up on budget and accounts
Supervision and maintenance of buildings belonging to Napasup Atuarfia, as well as school care.
Ensure that the citizens of the village are offered leisure education.
Responsibility for the school's operations towards the school board and the municipal council.
Salary and employment conditions, including the right to free travel and relocation of personal belongings, are in accordance with the applicable agreements and collective agreements between the Government of Greenland and the teachers' organization IMAK.
Employment is on special fixed-term conditions in accordance with the rules for the Naalakkersuisut and the municipal officials in Greenland, as well as applicable agreements between the Naalakkersuisut and IMAK.
Vacation travel is provided after every 12 months of employment.
The position is covered by the law on the obligation to obtain a child certificate. Employment can only begin once the municipality has obtained a child certificate from the National Police.
Employment is subject to a satisfactory child and criminal record check, which will be obtained by Qeqqata Municipality.
Housing can be allocated for which payment is made according to applicable rules.
