The Greenlandic Health Service is seeking an experienced shift planner for the implementation of the PDC shift planning system. You will be part of a central team ensuring professional shift planning across Greenland. Tasks include system rollout, data utilization, training, and consulting. The position requires health-related knowledge and flexibility to travel in Greenland.

The Greenlandic healthcare system is in the process of implementing the PDC shift planning system and is seeking an experienced shift planner with strong digital, relational, and communication skills.

You will become part of a new dedicated central scheduling team that will help ensure professional and consistent scheduling across all of Greenland. In close collaboration with the central project team, you will be responsible for implementing and further developing the scheduling in the Greenlandic healthcare system, so that it best supports the strategic goals of the healthcare system.

Your tasks will include, among other things:

  • Deployment of the shift planning system, including configuring and maintaining the individual departments' shift schedules.
  • Ensure better use of data so that managers and local schedulers can more easily make decisions about how to best utilize resources.
  • Develop teaching materials and conduct teaching
  • Advise and support managers and leaders in all matters related to shift planning.
  • Develop and implement rules for shift planning, policies, and decision proposals for the management, ensuring compliance with agreements and contracts.

If you, as a special consultant, can support the shift planning so that the different perspectives are balanced, understand your role and responsibilities, and can support the leaders, then you are the one we are looking for.

We imagine that you:

  • Has solid experience as a shift planner
  • Has a relevant education – for example in the health sector or HR.
  • Easily get acquainted with new digital opportunities and solutions.
  • Must be flexible and look forward to visiting the different regions of Greenland at least a couple of times a year.
  • Has a health professional knowledge that enables you to see the development opportunities.

Housing

Housing is allocated according to the rules in the Greenlandic Health Service that are in effect at any given time.

Salary and employment

Salary and employment conditions, including the right to travel for joining and leaving, as well as relocation of personal belongings, in accordance with the agreement/collective agreement in force at the time of commencement between the Government of Greenland and the relevant negotiating organization.

The position can be held either from Nuuk or from Greenland's Representation in Copenhagen.

Candidates with relevant experience and special skills may be offered employment as a special consultant.

Citizenship

If you are not a Nordic citizen, please note that the employment is conditional upon a valid residence and work permit. A residence and work permit can only be applied for upon agreed employment.
