About Qasapermiut
Qasapermiut is located in Sisimiut, Greenland. Qasapermiut operates under the Department of Social Affairs, Family and Justice for neglected children and young people between the ages of 13 and 17.
The placed children have had a childhood marked by neglect and come from all over Greenland.
The pedagogy at Qasapermiut is based on a cognitive, resource-oriented, and appreciative approach in a structured environment, also related to hunting life. We emphasize that they have a stable everyday life with schooling, work life, leisure interests, and a social life outside the institution. On weekends and during holidays, the children are offered great experiences in nature in the form of cabin trips, hunting and skiing trips, as well as participating in various events in the city.

About the position:
You must be prepared to take on the following functions:
Manage the daily operations in collaboration with the rest of the management team.
Prepare duty schedules
Ensure that Qasapermiut's economic framework is adhered to.
Ensure that the work in Qasapermiut is aligned with the professional objectives.
Ensure that the residential institution works in accordance with all established structure and
framework in collaboration with all employees.
Provide supervision in relation to the employees in the department and in the house as a whole.
Prepare status descriptions, development plans, and notifications.
Understand the interdisciplinary collaboration.
Facilitate the primary collaboration with parents.
Plan the admissions and discharges of new residents.
Receive and introduce new employees.
Have insight for the young age group 13-18 years
Together with the principal, they handle the administrative tasks.

That you have a driver's license but it is not required.
Is willing to collaborate with employees in large groups.

Salary and employment conditions
Salary and employment conditions, including the right to travel for joining and leaving as well as relocation of personal belongings, in accordance with the agreement/collective agreement applicable at the time of commencement between the Government of Greenland and the relevant negotiating organization.
Housing
An unfurnished staff housing can be assigned to the position according to the applicable rules at any given time. Housing cannot be assigned to individuals who already have staff housing or another property owned by the municipality or the Government of Greenland. Rent and deposit are paid according to the applicable rules for the assigned housing. The staff housing is linked to the employment relationship and must be vacated upon termination of the employment relationship.
Rent and housing standards may vary depending on the age of the property, ownership conditions, etc. There may be a waiting period for the allocation of permanent staff housing, which is why temporary accommodation may occur, including in smaller housing communities or hotel apartments, for which taxation applies. It is not possible to keep larger pets, such as dogs or cats, in staff or temporary housing.
