KTI Iron and Metal School in Nuuk is seeking a Workshop Assistant / School Practice Instructor. KTI, Iron & Metal School is looking for a workshop assistant / School Practice Instructor for the ship fitter & blacksmith education.
Within the education sectors of Crafts and Technology, a workshop assistant - school internship instructor is sought.
The work includes maintenance and repair of technical equipment and materials, various assembly tasks, preparation for shift changes and continuing education courses, participation in the development of equipment for learning activities, and involvement in the training of apprentices as well as school practice instructors.
We imagine that you have an education in blacksmithing or shipbuilding, possibly supplemented with further education, and that you are interested in collaborating with the department's teaching team within the changing offerings of education and course programs.
It is a wish - but not a requirement that you have a forklift certificate, driver's license B and C. Knowledge of Microsoft Office. Bilingual - Greenlandic/Danish - is preferred.

Salary and employment conditions
Salary and employment conditions, including the right to relocation and moving expenses, in accordance with the agreement/collective agreement in force at the time of commencement between the Government of Greenland and the relevant negotiating organization.
Housing
No staff housing is provided for the position. If an applicant already has staff housing through employment in the Self-Government, the right to assigned staff housing is retained. The staff housing is linked to the employment relationship and must be vacated upon termination of the employment relationship.
