Valuation Specialist for Private Homes

GrønlandsBANKEN is seeking a competent valuation specialist who is motivated by assessing private customers' largest investment, their home, whether it involves purchase, additional borrowing, or frequent updates on the value development of the bank's residential customers.

The position is newly created and you will be part of the Credit Department, which already consists of 6 competent colleagues.

You will succeed in the job as an appraisal specialist when you

• Be proactive and structured in your approach to working with property assessments.
• Is skilled at juggling many tasks in relation to collaboration with the bank's customers, personal advisors, production, managers, and the bank's credit department.
• Practices strong appraisal craftsmanship, supplemented with good IT skills, where experience in appraising residential properties will be a great advantage.
• Provides good customer service and is skilled at communicating, both internally and externally.
• With your good mood and positive energy, you contribute to the team, the community, and the well-being of the department.
• Like to work under flexible and independent conditions, where you largely organize your own day and know your goals.

Your primary task will be to assess the homes of the bank's private customers when ownership changes and similar events occur.

In addition, the homes of the bank's private customers must be assessed by an expert at least every 3 years, in most cases as an administrative assessment, where relevant reference properties are available.

You will have close collaboration and sparring with the bank's credit specialists in the personal sector, with personal advisors, and several across the organization, just as you will develop and collaborate with the bank's partners in the mortgage area.

You will also collaborate and consult with the bank's employees in other branch cities, where through consultation and development, you help advisors carry out high-quality assessments and professionalism.

You will also be in close dialogue with the bank's valuation specialist for businesses, where there will also be collaboration and potential to take over valuation cases across the board.

Your background

We are looking for a colleague and specialist who has a strong professional foundation, for example as a bank-trained professional/real estate agent/financial economist or similar.

Terms

Employment is in accordance with the agreement between Greenland Business and the Finance Union. The bank can provide housing with rent payment according to rules set by the Greenland Self-Government. Other employment conditions, including travel and relocation of belongings, are according to applicable regulations.
