Business Consultant

Avannaata Municipality, Business Administration Upernavik, is looking for a business consultant with employment starting on April 1, 2026, or as soon as possible according to agreement.

The consultant will physically sit at the Business Administration in Upernavik, with the business manager as the closest reference. In connection with the position, the consultant will work closely with other towns and villages in Avannaata Municipality, and there will be travel activities associated with the position.

Tasks and areas of responsibility:

The consultant's primary responsibility on a daily basis will be advising business actors and the business council in Upernavik, as well as other related tasks in the area.

-Advisory and campaign on business, tourism, and fishing and hunting both in the city and in the villages

-Establish advisory services for land-based entrepreneurs

-Contact and collaboration with other relevant authorities

-Be a co-actor in business policy in both cities and towns

Requirements for competencies:

• Relevant education for the position
• I want to work with business.
• Committed, no problems with alcohol or recreational drugs.
• Minimum bilingual, Greenlandic and Danish
• Is diligent and responsible

You should expect to be referred to work-related meetings, seminars, and courses.

Salary and employment conditions:

Salary and employment conditions are determined in accordance with the applicable agreement between the Government of Greenland and the negotiating organization.

Housing:

There is no accommodation for the position.
