Assistant/Interpreter for Pillorissaasat in the Municipality of Kujalleq, located in Qaqortoq. We have a need for support in the form of assistance/stories for the community's residents in their daily lives, as well as for those in need of protection and support.
In our work, the tasks related to administration include the following:

In the Pillorissaasut area, there will be discussions via telephone, in-person conversations with residents, and discussions during training at the Pillorissaavimmi. Additionally, there will be written communications regarding the issues.

The Pillorissaasut is an assistant for the agreement on training for residents, participation in training, and monitoring that residents are training correctly.

The regulation regarding the provision of services to residents and the assurance of their accessibility, as well as the reporting on this matter.

Every week, there is a meeting in the office for coordination.

The rescue teams currently consist of three trained individuals, one operational team member for the day, and one designated support/communication worker for the rescue operation, with the primary focus on assisting individuals with disabilities (both children and adults) and the elderly.
We emphasize collaboration and teamwork to provide the best possible offerings to the community by leveraging our skills and expertise.
We support each other in a spirit of cooperation, of course also with challenges, exercises, training methods, as well as administrative tasks such as emails, information, and guidance on communication with partners.
The workweek lasts 40 hours, with employees working from 8 AM to 4 PM from Monday to Friday. Employment will be based on agreements, and discussions will take place with the union representative.
