Branch Manager for Bygma Nuuk

Bygma is looking for an engaged and results-oriented leader to drive sales and operations as well as lead employees in a newly established business that supplies building materials to both craftsmen and private customers. Therefore, we need an experienced leader with in-depth local knowledge who can take responsibility for ensuring further growth and development in the Greenlandic market.

You create growth and ensure a healthy working environment for your employees. As branch manager at Bygma Nuuk, you are a key player in the organization when it comes to strengthening Bygma's position in the Greenlandic market. You have overall responsibility for both the strategic and operational management of the business and build the organization as needed.

You are referring directly to the director of Bygma Greenland.

Primary areas of responsibility:

• Ensures that the store operates efficiently and professionally, with a constant focus on high customer satisfaction, good shopping experiences, and a strong business result.
• Strategic planning, optimization, and maintenance of sales efforts for B2B and private customers locally and in the physical store.
• Responsibility for achieving budget, revenue, and financial goals.
• Decisive, visible, and inspiring leadership with a focus on motivation and engagement among employees, so they perform at their best.
• Focus on results to achieve the goals in a sustainable way that benefits Bygma in the long term.
• Close collaboration with the Danish department in Støvring.

We expect that you have experience in sales and management – preferably within the retail or construction industry – and that you are either already residing in Greenland or have a solid local knowledge and have previously worked with customers in the area.

• You have financial understanding and with your structured approach, you can manage a budget.
• You achieve results through good collaborations with both customers and employees.
• You are results-oriented, decisive, and a natural leader.
• You have a natural leadership profile with strong communication skills and the ability to motivate and develop our skilled and dedicated employees.
