Integrated Institution MUKU in Nuussuaq is seeking a social worker for the kindergarten for children aged 0-3 years. The position is 40 hours weekly with varying working hours. The applicant must have an educational background, be responsible, creative, and cooperative. Employment requires a satisfactory criminal and child certificate.
The Integrated Institution MUKU is located in Nuussuaq and has space for 64 children.
MUKU is open during the day from 07:00 AM to 05:00 PM, accommodating 24 nursery children and 40 preschool children. There are 15 staff members distributed with 3 in each room for 4 rooms, one cleaning assistant, one kitchen assistant, and a manager.
The social worker is a position in the kindergarten for children aged 0-3 years. It is 40 weekly working hours with varying working hours between 7:00 AM and 5:00 PM. The social worker is jointly responsible for the educational development of the daycare institution and parent collaboration.
Professional and personal requirements for the applicant are:

·That you are flexible, cooperative, and approachable
·That you are familiar with the 7 pedagogical principles (Tunngaviit ilikkalertorfiusut 7-it)
·That you are familiar with "free from bullying" ("Kammagiitta")

Criminal and Child Certificate:
The position is covered by the law on the obligation to obtain criminal and child certificates. According to the law, employment can only begin once the municipality has received satisfactory criminal and child certificates. We must therefore point out that the start date can only be agreed upon once the municipality has received the child certificate from the national police as well as the criminal record from the police.
The child certificate is obtained by the municipality with the consent of the individual, while the criminal record is obtained by the individual from the police.
Salary and employment conditions:
Salary and employment conditions are in accordance with the applicable agreement between the Government of Greenland, in accordance with the agreement/collective agreement in force at the time of appointment between the Government of Greenland and the relevant negotiating organization.
The employment will be subject to a 3-month probation period.

No staff housing can be provided for the position.
