MISI Kujalleq is seeking a dedicated MISI Consultant for employment starting August 1, 2026, or by agreement, with MISI Kujalleq, Qaqortoq.

About MISI Kujalleq

MISI Kujalleq provides educational-psychological counseling and special educational guidance in the Municipality of Kujalleq.

You will be part of a small team of 5 employees consisting of:

• Chief School Psychologist
• Psychologist
• Consultant for Special Education
• MISI Consultant
• Office assistant

The position reports to the Chief School Psychologist.

Work tasks

Your tasks will include, among other things:

• Advising and guiding schools and daycare institutions regarding special education and special pedagogical initiatives.
• Implementation of educational assessments, observations, and conversations regarding children and students with special needs in collaboration with psychologists and consultants for special education, including the preparation of professional evaluations, reports, and recommendations.
• Guidance and support for parents, teachers, and educational staff regarding the well-being, development, and learning of children and young people.
• Participation in development, planning, and interdisciplinary collaboration in the special area.

We are looking for you who:

• Has experience with special education and children with special needs.
• Works independently and is collaborative-oriented
• Has a respectful approach to other people.
• Contributes positively to the work environment
• Gladly is bilingual.

We expect that you have a relevant educational or teaching background, for example as a teacher, educator, or similar, as well as relevant further education or training in special education, inclusion, learning, or communication.

Employment and remuneration are in accordance with the applicable collective agreement with IMAK or another relevant professional agreement depending on the applicant's educational background and qualifications.

Housing can be allocated to external employees according to applicable regulations. Temporary accommodation can be expected.

Relocation travel and moving expenses are provided according to applicable regulations.

Child certificate

The position is subject to regulations regarding the obtaining of a child certificate.
