Kujalleq Municipality is looking for a skilled, committed, and stable caseworker for the disability area in Nanortalik with a degree as a social worker or equivalent. Start date on December 1, 2026 or by further agreement.

The disability department in Nanortalik is a smaller department. As a new employee, you will work together with another caseworker and collaborate remotely with the other caseworkers in Narsaq and Qaqortoq via digital connections.

We expect you to:

·Have an educational background as a Bachelor Social Worker or other relevant education.

·You have experience with holistic case management.

·Have good collaboration skills and can work interdisciplinary internally - externally

·Have experience with administrative tasks as well as financial management

·Have good communication and presentation skills for citizens that focus on mastering their own lives

The content of the position includes:

·Ensure case management in the disability area according to applicable legislation

·Preparation of assessments, action plans, and applications for support

·To follow up that the allocated support is adjusted according to the citizen's current needs

·Co-create and actively participate for good collaboration and development of the area

The Social Administration offers among other things:

Kujalleq Municipality has faced challenges in the disability area for a longer period. Therefore, the area is temporarily subject to an administrative arrangement under the supervision of Naalakkersuisut.

The work to improve quality is currently being initiated with the aim that Kujalleq Municipality will again take over the administration of the disability area. As a new employee, you will therefore have the opportunity to contribute to and influence the shaping of the area in collaboration with your immediate supervisor.

The working hours are 40 hours weekly. There is a social duty on rotation for periods of one week. The social duty is compensated in addition to the regular salary.

Child certificate:

This position is subject to the law on the obligation to obtain a child certificate - criminal record. According to the law, employment can only begin when the municipality has obtained the certificate. The child certificate will be included in the municipality's assessment of who is hired for the position.

Salary - and employment conditions will be in accordance with the collective agreement between Naalakkersuisut and Atorfillit Kattuffiat for Social Workers and caseworkers employed under Self-Government and the Greenlandic municipalities.

Housing is provided, for which rent etc. is paid according to applicable rules. Additionally, free travel for relocation and moving expenses is provided - and after at least 3 years of employment - termination and moving expenses according to applicable rules.
